ABOUT US
over 27 years of experience in the culinary field, having started my journey at the age of 10. Cooking is a passion that I inherited from my mother, Ameera, who inspired me with her skills and love for food. From my father, I also inherited an artistic ability that complements my culinary talents. These two passions have shaped my life and work. After marrying my husband, Ahmed, I thought of sharing my love for cooking by teaching him how to prepare meals with care and passion. Together, we decided to introduce the beauty of cooking to our community, sharing the rich flavors and traditions of Middle Eastern cuisine that we hold dear. Middle Eastern food is known for its vibrant spices, bold flavors, and the time and effort required to prepare it properly. It is a labor-intensive process, but the result is always worth it, as every dish tells a story of tradition, love, and dedication. Since 2013, I have been active in the restaurant industry in Maine. I initially worked as a chef at Ameera Bread, which went on to win the 2019 Small Business Award, a testament to the dedication and passion we put into our work. Later, I took on the roles of both previous owner and chef at Dina’s Cuisine. After a personal life change, including my separation from my husband, I made the decision to pursue my passion independently and start my own venture. I am now seeking support as I embark on this new chapter of my career, with the goal of building something meaningful and successful on my own.
